We have two main programs during the school year that provide fun and faith formation for our children ages 3 years old - 5th grade.
God’z Kidz meets on Thursday evenings (when school is in session) at 5:30. Parents take turns providing dinner each week. Kids enjoy an evening of Bible learning, games, crafts, music and more. We finish the evening at 7pm.
Kid’s JAM meets on Sunday mornings at 10:30, except for the 1st Sunday of the month and over major holiday weekends. Kids meet together and then are divided up in age appropriate classes where they have a time of learning key Bible stories. Because we believe that it is important to children to worship with their families, we have a family worship service on the first Sunday of the month.
Each summer we offer multiple summer camps for children - Vacation Bible School, Performing Arts Camp and Camp Hope. Information and dates are available by January each year, as well as registration forms.
Throughout the year, we offer special events, Mardi Gras Party, Parent’s Night Out, celebration of milestones, Good Friday for kids, and more, so we encourage you to visit us on our facebook page for updated information.

The Children’s Ministry provides learning opportunities for children up through 5th grade to grow their faith in Christ Jesus. Work is done through Sunday’s program called Children’s Church, a weeknight program named God’z Kidz, and special events and summer camps.
Vacation Bible School, Camp Hope and Performing Arts Camp help children learn new things while understanding the presence of God in everything. Children learn fun ways to worship, build personal faith and team building experiences for Christ.
Children’s Church meets Sundays from 10:30 – 11:30 AM. God’z Kids gather Thursday evenings from 5:30 to 7:00 PM. Camps occur in the summer.
For those youth in middle school (6th-8th grades), we invite you to join us after school on Thursdays for Creation. We alternate weeks with Confirmation Class, fellowship and service projects. We ask parents to take turns providing snacks each week for the youth.
Confirmation Class is a focused time of study of some of the foundations of our faith as Christians in the Lutheran Traditions. At the end of 8th grade, students are invited to affirm their baptisms in a Confirmation ceremony at church. Topics covered in class include The Bible, the 10 Commandments, the Lord’s Prayer, the Apostle’s Creed and other important lessons to help us live out our faith.
Fellowship Days can bring a variety of surprises for the youth from games to conversations about things happening in the world, to special projects, etc.
Our main Service Project this year has been to make lunches for a local organization that feeds the homeless and the poor. Once a month, our youth and their families provide the supplies and make 90 lunches for Friends in the Desert. Many of our youth also help with our children’s ministry programs as well. We continue to be on the look-out for any other opportunities to serve those in need.
For those in high school (9th-12th grades), we invite you to join us twice a month at 11:30am on Sundays for youth group. We hang out, enjoy conversation, devotions and more. It’s a great time to get focused for the week ahead.
Last year, our youth raised money for the National Lutheran Youth Gathering in Houston, Texas.
ALL YOUTH need to remain on the look-out for special outings, retreats and more!
High School youth are also invited to apply for staff positions for our Summer Camp programs. Applications are usually available starting in February and due by April 1.
